At Riverside Lodge, you can get directions to the Grand Encampment Museum and the Trail Head for the Encampment River Trail.  The Museum is a good walk from Riverside Cabin.

The Trail is a hiking and camping trail that runs from the Bridge pictured to another Trail Head in Commissary Park, near the Hog Park Reservoir.
