Rancher's Camp Meeting  Annually in July, a tent is erected at the FS Campground at Bottle Creek for Christian worship services, Bible study and activates for children.  A separate cook tent is set up and meals are served to attendees.  Many people bring their campers from all over the region to stay during the four days.  Others who live nearby return home to do chores and then travel Highway 70 back into the Sierra Madre Mountain Range to attend the meetings.  The meetings, which have been going since the 1940's are non-denominational and supported by donations.

Winter Carnival  Features snowmobile competitions such as a poker run and sometimes bed races.  There is often a winter melodrama/dinner theater presentation.

Wood Chopper's Jamboree and Rodeo  Established by the Encampment community to provide contests among logging professionals and rodeo participants.  The celebrations is managed by the Encampment-Riverside Lions Club and occurs on Father's Day weekend every June (unless other plans are made).  The Jamboree Queen reigns over the celebrations joined by a Lady-in-Waiting , who will be named Queen next year and one Attendant. Community residents are recognized and named Grand Marshall of the Parade.  Street dances make up part of the celebration.  The Encampment Drama Club presents a melodrama, sometimes with a dinner theater for one performance.

Copper Days Festival  Held annually on the weekend following Labor Day, tractor enthusiasts come from far and near to observe tractor pulling competition and exhibitions of antique engines and restored tractors from all over the region.  Sponsored by the Chug and Tug Tractor Club, whose members are tractor enthusiasts. All who will bring a tractor to drive participate in the parade.  This is a pleasant time of the year, cooler, but not cold.  There are no mosquitoes!
